Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

DokoDocs is designed to keep your documents under your control.

What we collect

By default, DokoDocs does not collect, transmit, or store your scanned documents on any server we operate. Documents are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly configure a sync destination (your own server, or a third-party cloud provider you connect yourself).

Guest mode

You can use DokoDocs without creating an account. No personal data is required for core scanning, editing, or PDF features.

Optional accounts

If you choose to sign in (for example, with Google or Apple), we use that solely for authentication and do not access your documents.

Third-party storage

If you connect a cloud provider or your own server, that provider's own privacy policy governs data stored there — DokoDocs does not have access to or visibility into that data.

Analytics

DokoDocs does not currently use third-party analytics or tracking.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and the update will be noted in the project's GitHub repository.
